industrial design studio project: personalized chair
inspiration: Many hours spent in the library as a child formed and informed how I perceive the world today. This project intends to empower developing minds with the confidence to change their surroundings, by interacting with their environment.
structure: Base rungs and pads are made from interchangeable materials, in this case plywood and felted wool. Recycled hdpe plastic is the ideal construction material.
Bases can be linked to form a continuous bench.
Form developed organically around the most sturdy connection method.
