Starting with copper circles, I hammer form the metal until it reaches the general shape I am looking for. Then I chase (a hammering technique that uses relief forming and small steel tools to create details) the forms, patina them in liver of sulfur, and polish the edges to create contrast.  Silver prong stone settings were souldered together to support the Amethyst tips.
