Modu_gram

Inspired by mathematical models and fractional forms,‘Modu_gram’ is a collection or series of 3D wearable structures. Initiallycreated through simple folds and origami's generating form on varyingscales each structure is then named separately, Octa, Tetra, Edra andPoly. The pieces themselves transform through the use of several differentmeans; light, movement, structure and colour, all shown using performance andwith built in magnets allowing pieces to be worn at different positions on thebody the form generation is exclusive to the user or wearer in the moment.Modu_gram is as much about process as it is about product, I am looking indepth at the generative series, at how we assemble, create, perform andtransform as an infinite and continuous series in itself. Modu_gram is aFashion process it looks at the interrelation and interplay between 3D structuralshapes and forms with the body central, within the process of creation newsilhouettes emerge and form counter forms that arise through human interactionand engagement.
