PINE CHAIR
“Pine Chair” is a comfortable seat with small ornamental details, which strives to be the brand image of any restaurant that adopts it. Specially designed for casual dining and socializing terraces or esplanades, it goes well with low tables. Its more pronounced angles in the seat and backrest conform nevertheless to ergonomic concerns and provide a relaxed posture.
Despite its more unusual angles and dimensions, it is a solid structure with closely intertwined elements. Two single parts keep together the backrest and the seat, giving elegance and strength simultaneously. A small ornamental rim sets the limits where you sit. The backrest has a hole that makes transportation easier.
This prototype, built in 100% pine wood, paths the way for using other woods, finishes and colors, and to produce a more sophisticated range of chairs. It is considered a study of form and function and a project to explore.
