Along its existence, the human being started accommodating its context: studying, feeling it, and taking decisions over it. Many of these decisions, wether conscious or unconsciously, organized its species and others hierarchically. Non-human animals were part of this "order" created by humans for its own profit and convenience, not being able to decide by themselves how to live. Many of these decisions stood over thousands of years, being naturalized even until our days. This way of conceiving nature is so normalized that if one does not make the effort to awake and think different from the rest, it is never questioned. Animals are not inferior to humans, nor its property, and every one of them in its own terms have a lot to say. With this poster, we intend to convey the qualities of some of many animals that are despised by humans, either because they are "food", "dirty" or "ugly". It is important that our species rethinks and contemplates new ways of seeing the world and empathize with it. We are all of us a single being and we share the same space, each and every of our decisions are connected to others.
A lo largo de su existencia el ser humano fué acomodando su contexto, estudiándolo, sintiéndolo y tomando decisiones sobre él. Muchas de esas decisiones consciente o insconcientemente jerarquizaban tanto a su propia especie como a otras. Los animales no-humanos fueron parte de este "ordenar" del ser humano para su provecho y conveniencia, no pudiendo decidir por sí mismos cómo vivir. Muchas de estas decisiones se mantuvieron a lo largo de miles de años, naturalizándose dentro del mundo humano al punto de mantenerse aún hasta el día de hoy. Se normalizó tanto esta manera de ver a la naturaleza que si uno no hace un esfuerzo por estar atento y no pensar como el resto, no se lo cuestiona. Los animales no son inferiores al humano, ni propiedad, y cada uno de ellos dentro de su existencia tienen mucho para decir. En este poster intentamos mostrar cualidades de algunos de los muchos animales que son despreciados por el humano, porque son "comida", o "sucios", o "feos". Es importante que nuestra especie se replantee y contemple nuevos modos de ver el mundo y lograr empatizar más con él. Somos todxs un ser y compartimos el mismo espacio, cada una de nuestras decisiones están conectadas con otrxs.
