DRAGON BALL SUPER BROLY
ALTERNATIVE MOVIE POSTER
First of all I wanna say that this is an alternative movie poster. As a kid that has grown in the 90s with dragon ball (Bola de Drac en català!) and as a designer I don’t like at all the new character design for the old saiyans in this new film (Bardock, king Vegeta, ¿Young vegeta?… Goku with armor??????? and saying goodbye to bardock?? ). I think this film is fucking awesome but I don’t see the necessity to rewrite the story of the past of Goku/Vegeta. All the opposite happens with Brolly, I think that the character has become more complete and with a better design and intellect than the old one (now is the Mark Lenders of the Saiyans ). So in my own version of this movie poster I’ve selected what it’s for me the most logical character design if this film was launched chronologically followed by the end of Dragon Ball Z (as I did with the two other movie posters I’ve made). So as allways do I’ve keep the style of 90s one more time :) Love to do this personal project and I’ve been really hyped and focused on give this poster a meaning, including the storytelling of the 3 original movies (Bardock, The fusion and Brolly) that gives meaning at this new film of Brolly. The poster is divided in 3 parts, starting from bottom to top
In the bottom of the poster we can find the three survivors of the saiyan’s genocide. I’ve keep alive the Bardock old style and his squad and I’ve mixed with all the saiyans as king Vegeta, Paragus, Gine, Nappa a young Raditz… At the center we find Broly rising between all the saiyan warriors as the saiyan of the legend fighting against Goku and Vegeta in SSJGod mode (one of the higest levels actually). Finally at the backside we find the maximum level of power as the SS version of Broly and the SSBlue of Gogeta. Can’t wait to see the film!!!!! :D
