In The Mind of The Artist Exhibition
Me and my partner set up a corner about Pierre-Auguste Renoir as part of an art exhibition in our university. The exhibition included many corners of many artists. The preparation process included many stages to reach this final look.
Event Poster
I designed this poster for the event using paintings from each artist. I used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create the poster. I wanted something that expresses the colorful elements in our exhibition, but at the same time includes an element from each artist.
Teasers
Around a month before the event, we had to create teasers and spread them around the university. I designed the brown one using Adobe Illustrator and my partner used Adobe Photoshop to design the blue and the pink ones.
Artist Poster
My partner deigned the artist poster. In the poster, we mentioned some information about Renoir and his life.
Exhibition
Our corner included activities and elements that reflected Renoir's style. As an activity, we asked the visitors to contribute to a painting that we started by drawing a flower, since Renoir was famous for including many flowers in his paintings. We also decorated the display to look like a place which Renoir would like to draw, and we did that by adding flowers everywhere and making it look like a set up in a garden.
