"I want someone to remember me..."

The concentration is about nostalgia, about someone looking back into his life and finding the ultimate fulfillment. Not long ago my grandpa sadly passed away, although I didn't spend a large chunk of my life with him, I still want to create something that will represent his legacies and convey his life stories.

The stories begins (1) as my grandpa looks into a framed photo, and a little kid, who represents the young version of him, throws a paper plane into the picture frame, thus starts the journey. The paper plane travels throughout his life as the little kid chases the plane, which represents his life goals that he is chasing for. Each picture shows a scene in his life, from growing up (2) to joining the army (3) to being captured (4) to working for the Chinese government (5,6,7) and to working in a company (10) and getting married (9)… the plane fly through his life and finally lands on the hand of the little kid(12), who is now old and exhausted, limping towards his end with his worn walking stick. The concentration ends with a full circle as my grandpa finally fulfills his life goals of having a happy family and dying peacefully at his homeland.
