For 2018’s Christmas season, Coca-Cola decided to create a digital campaign to acknowledge all Santas in our daily lives: The ones who make their wish of dining with their family together come true, even if they live apart; or the ones that travel long distances to celebrate with their beloved ones.
This ad required screen replacement from a cellphone screen recorded with a hand camera. The other part of the effect consisted of designing and animating a simple user
interface that was similar to the most popular social networks.
I was able to solve tracking with some simple steps by using Mocha AE. Since the program is integrated to After Effects I was able to animate the screen and combine the elements quickly. The final result is a very simple shot, with a greatly integrated tracking job.
