This packaging design is my summative project at Yoobee School of Design (YSD). The brief is to create a packaging design for a fictional place of our choice and I came of with the idea of creating a packaging for rice bag during Vietnamese war (1960s)

In addition to creating a packaging design, we are also required to come up with the ideas of a corporate company logo and a product logo for the packaging.

In my fictional location, “Nông Sản Anh Ba” is one of the most well-known rice company in Vietnam during the war time. They were asked by the government to create a packaging for their product with the purpose of creating and increasing the fighting spirit among both soldiers and civilians. The rice will be sent out to the soldiers in the war and sold in the markets during the war time.

The design must be simple and express the content of encouraging fighting for the country. The design should also be used as a poster displayed anywhere in Vietnam to spread the message from the government.

Due to the low budget for printing, the packaging design should be made with low cost material and basic colors to decease the cost for producing.
