Getting Cooked this Christmas

This was my family's annual Christmas card. Inspired by those hilarious 1960's cook books with the jello molds and shrimp towers, the Christmas Project allows me to show off my photography, styling and design skills all at once. (Because when you're a commercial photographer, you can't slack.)

I put the entire family in vintage 1960's attire, styled the hair and makeup to look straight out of that era, and then placed props that took it right over the top. I shot the whole project on a 60's shade of pink seamless and got everything bright and cheery in post. Then, the real fun began. Researching fonts and designs from the 60's, I laid out and typeset the entire cook book cover from scratch. This was printed on nice, heavy bright white stock and the paper just soaked up those inks. People really loved it! Another successful project in the bag.

Do you have a brand that demands the very best photography, styling, design or brand management? Give me a holler so I can give you the full eats, treats & processed meats treatment!
