Phase Three.
Through brainstorming and furthering the idea of abstraction of my presentations format I began to experiment with a light fixture. Building even further on this, I distorted the shape of the fixture, to possibly feature some bigger pieces, and some small - all in the aim to accentuate the modest level of abstraction and cliche nature of the physical representation.

Viewed through my sketches above in Figure 5a. it can be seen that the idea as a whole didn't connect well enough to my techniques and elements of compliment, distort, layer and texture - hence, why no physical model was made.

The light fixture didn't showcase the idea of conflict and resolution as well as a flat surface would of as viewed in Phase Two. The dynamic nature of the shape would have distracted too greatly from the wanted connotations. This was discovered through peer feedback when I showcased my sketches to the group.

Due to this lack of connection to my technique and element words, the biggest problem I was facing, and negative peer responses, I chose once again to change the platform in which I was to paint upon. It was back to the drawing board.
