Gregor the Ovelander

I feel like my personal style shows through best in this one! Unique perspective is always a difficult task to take on, but I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
I'm very rusty when it comes to drawing backgrounds and scenery, but this was very fun to do! I tried to evoke a magical feeling, and make the heroes seem very small in this very big world
I can draw scary stuff too! This picture stands out apart from the other illustrations. I had bigger plans for this picture in the series and I intended make it a scene where our heroes are accosting him with swords, but I got very attached to the detail I put in the rat, and I didn't want to lose that.
Initial sketch for The Fall. This was the hardest part of the picture! Special thanks to SenshiStock on deviantART for providing pose references!
My drawings go from 0 to 60 pretty quick and my very, very early sketches always look a bit silly. I had bigger plans for The Rat illustration and I do wish I went through with my original idea of the rat being accosted with swords by our heroes, but I spent so much time on the rat that I was too scared to mess it up with other figures in the drawing.
