The name is dated back to the English occupation in Egypt when the only available ice - cold drink was "Argasos " liquorice drink ". Back then the English soldiers fell in love with the drink they even named it " Arkasos ", then it was changed to " kasos ", then later to " kazoza ", and lastely to " azoza "
In " Al-Maany " dictionary the term " Kazoza" means " Gazoza" which is an ice - cold drink made of sugar & soda, could be pronounced as " Gazoza" "kazoza" or " azoza"
" Azoza " is a very old & widely popular term that has been firmly rooted in people's mind for generations,
it's a deep-rooted & common term , easily pronounced especially for kids, as well as a comdy one.
In addition, it has not been registered as a trademark yet.
