"NAMESAKE Partners With 13 Artists on a Collection of Innovative Leather Jackets”

A jacket I painted in collaboration with Rosa Halpern of By The Namesake to be auctioned in benefit for Fashion Revolution. The jacket was shown at the LUMAS gallery in Yorkville for Toronto Women’s Fashion Week.

"The artist series, pays homage to the three great loves of my life: drawing, painting, and fashion design. It is an attempt to meld the abstract world of fine art with the concrete form of fashion.

With full artistic freedom granted to 13 globally recognized artists, we have created 13 wearable art pieces – each of which is a unique, one-of-a-kind masterpiece that explores the intersection between fashion and fine art, and re-defines the iconic leather jacket.

The proceeds from the sale of the these jackets will be donated in support of fashion revolution , a not-for-profit organization aiming to radically change the way clothes are sourced, produced and consumed by ensuring safe, clean and fair conditions for workers in the manufacturing industry.
