Alexander Calder
Alexander calder was an American sculptor who is best known for his innovative mobiles, Calder's mobiles consist of abstract shape made of industrial materials-often poetic and gracefully formed and at times boldly colored-that hang in an uncanny, perfect balance.

Alexander Calder
His work mainly used metal to show movement and wire is his favorite material, Calder always carried wire and pliers with him so that he could "sketch" in his favorite material. This has to be known as 'drawing in the space' because he would literally use the wire to create a drawing in the air.

I am fascinating by the artworks of Alexander, it is so inspirational. Especially how he develop an innovative method of sculpting, bending and twisting wire to create three-dimensional"drawing in space". This is also a challenge for me that how would I balance mobile well in my future design. Moreover, I like the simplicity of his work, and I would like to develop this kind of simplicity in my future work.

The second design precedent comes from the work of laser cutting service Australia. Laser cut interior design are emerging on different modern infrastructure and interior layout of buildings and open spaces. Designers and architect firms are using wide range of fabrics for interior design, wall covering, soundproofing, dividing space, and simply for bringing more artistic look to space. The work from the website is native, vibrant and pleasant, which could be a good method to improve the artistic look of my work, also I hope the space can be more vivid by hanging my final design.
Olafur Eliasson
Olafur Eliasson is an icelandic-Danish artist known for sculptures and large-scale installation art employing elemental materials such as light, water, and air temperature to enhance the viewer's experience. The simplicity and experiential nature of Olafur Eliasson's work has made him the most visible contemporary artist. Light is the most important element of his work, the technique of refraction and proportion, often containing the unique experience of each viewers. By letting light pass through a layer of glass or medium and standing in different places, it will produce different scenes. I amazed by the idea of his work:standing in different places, it will produce different scenes. It is similar with the theme I want to express: consider things in diverse way and it is unable to judge individual by the outlook.
