About Me
My name is Prince J. Howell. I am a student at the University of Florida, studying Public Relations.
My leadership journey began when I was a boy on various sports teams. My many experiences leading a team into “battle” on a playing field has given me various tools to be successful at leadership. Being a strong leader allows one to strive in the work environment and in many other aspects in life as well.
Being entrusted with a leadership role at an early stage in my career, I welcomed the challenge and absorbed all the lessons and values taught to me. I learned from all types of leaders and their different leadership styles. Through these experiences I discovered my passion for leading teams.
I took it upon myself to start learning about the different types of leadership methods from well-respected leaders and mentors. I read books and watched videos from some of the most well-known leaders including Stephen M.R. Covey, John C. Maxwell, Simon Sinelk, Liz Wiseman, Dave Ramsey and Cheryl Bachelder.
A quote that often comes to mind when speaking on leadership or when I am presented with a new team is by Jim Rohn and he said; “The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly.”

Flamingo Road Nursery is open all year long and offers an open-air nursery, plants, pottery, gardening supplies and at times an on-site farmer’s market. Starting in Sept. the Fall Harvest Festival is put in full swing, and transforms the Flamingo Road Nursery into a fall extravaganza. This annual event is held Sept. thru Nov. To visit this attraction head to 1655 S Flamingo Rd, Davie, FL 33325. The festival is visited by residences of both Dade and Broward County regularly, but all visitors are welcome. The nursery is a site to see and allows visitors to get in the fall sprit. There are several activities for children and adults of all ages like picking the perfect pumpkin from the several pumpkin patches. The festival also includes a free pumpkin decorating station, hay rides, costume contests, bounce houses, and live character interactions.

Supporting security functions and operations such as Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR), Playbook, Screening Passengers by Observation Techniques (SPOT) operations, Transportation Security Specialist- Explosives (TSS-E) operations, Travel Document Check (TDC) operations, and other activities and applicable operations.
Establishing and maintaining working relations with counterparts within TSA, as well as other Federal, state, and local agencies, airports, airlines, and other transportation sector modes. Participating in interagency committees, meetings, and exercises as a representative of TSA to gather and exchange information on matters of interest and to establish mutual working relationships.
