Artist Statement:

As a high school student, I find my inspiration in my surroundings. I am not the cleanest of artists, but that is what defines my work as my own. My processes do not follow the status quo; I am the creator of my own art. I draw from certain senses of the outside world that connect to my ideas of how I will pursue my next project. My techniques are not limited to what I feel as though are my best, as I continue to surprise myself. By using ideas and essences I would not have imagined to use, I will only learn and mature in my art career.

My work is the epitome of me and who I believe that I am. As I draw my inspiration from sources both internally and externally, I continue to use both in my pieces. My landscapes are where I find the true representation for myself as an artist. My life will continually have a large effect on my artistic capabilities as I pursue my future endeavors. I will forever use my own inspirations, as well as others, in my own work.
