#childhoodweek December 2018!!

some color tests for 1st prompt: search
Finally, finally!! #childhoodweek day 1: • S E A R C H • 🍀

When I was a kid, every time we went to the woods -or anywhere, really- I searched for what I called “paradises” they were secret spots where nobody was and they were somehow hidden and magical. My ideal paradise spot was one with a tiny bit of crystalline water, some plants coming out of it and probably dappled light coming through the trees. 💚🌱

It was spring. I remember the first time my parents gave me a couple of coins to go and get some bread to the store for lunch. Everything was so huge and scary. (I was 4 or 5) But I felt like I was almost glowing. I felt so strong and that I could do anything at all. (Until I saw a dead young bird on my way back home, and so I knocked at my parents’ door full of tears in my eyes. Haha (that’s probably why I have a tendency to want to save all the birds in the universe now) -

color test for 3rd prompt: parade
#childhoodweek day 3: • P A R A D E • -

In Spain, every 5th of January before the 3 wise men come to our houses to leave some gifts with their camels and colorful robes, there’s a parade at night in where they throw candy and play music all around the streets. We used to carry hats to try and catch as many sweets as possible. That made me dream of parades, and me in front of them, guiding my favorite friends towards a huge adventure. -

🌧🌱Ever since I can remember, whenever it rains I feel an incredible urgency to go outside to wander and think. I love the smells, the fresh water falling and the sounds; almost silent but not quite. When I was a child I used to think that if I wished very hard I could turn into rain. Or into a puddle at least. Oh well. 🤷🏼‍♀️💙🌱

My little sister @alicastroart loved #bettyspaghetty. We had 2. A blond one and a pink one. The pink one was cuter because had 2 ponytails, and mine was the blond one. (Although I would never admit it) But @alicastroart always ended up giving me what I loved the most even if it meant giving it up herself. I was super mean sometimes 😔
I made this to show everybody how I wish I could have changed that, and that I remember that games with so much love but also with regret and a bid of sadness. I wish I would have been a better sister. Thank you @alicastroart for your patience, unconditional love and for always going around smiling with that little pumpkin face of yours 💛

⭐️⭐️Every December 24th, we went out to the streets to try and find Santa. We would bring our best musical instruments and sing along the streets together (also with my cousins). We sang, we laughed and we howled to the sky so that Santa would hear us and bring us some gifts. We’re a big family. Then at some point we’d return home with a few stories about shooting stars that could have been Santa, or some others of rain deers having crossed the sky while nobody was watching. But the best part was, when we all came back home, the house was suddenly magically full of sweets, gifts and screams of happiness. We were (and are) so lucky.
So thank you Santa, for all your big effort and the happiness you bring every year. ⭐️⭐️

Red was always my favorite color. Anything with red had my entire attention. From joysticks, to hoodies, games and candy. Red was -and is- instinct happiness for me. 🖍❤️😊
