Salzburg City Branding
The city of Salzburg is full of historical architecture and musical features. Salzburg is known for its famous composer Mozart, and its impressive architecture that gives a sense of a fairytale. These characteristics were the foundation for the re-branding which I designed.
The rebranding of Salzburg aimed to change the perception of the youth towards history and aims to connects history and present. The logo combines the historical baroque characteristics of the city with the tenderness of the melody which it is known by. In addition, the color scheme inspired from the actual places in Salzburg. The colorful identity aims to focus on the richness of the heritage in Salzburg, Austria.
