Bucuru Travels is a custom tour company offering bespoke travel experiences for those visiting Costa Rica. They needed to get their new company off the ground with a beautiful and easy to navigate new website.
For this project, I acted as the creative lead behind the birth of the Bucuru Travels brand. Starting with a branding kit, I created the website and all other visual assets for each tour experience.
One of the main challenges for this site was to make sure that it was easy for visitors to find all the relevant information for each tour. We also wanted to create a seamless ecommerce experience that felt familiar to online shoppers — something like Airbnb.
To explain the process, I created a set of process icons to guide users through the experience of booking a tour.
The below style tile shows my design process and system for defining the style of Bucuru Travels. As the basis of the brand I defined colours, typography, icon style and header graphics. From this set of styles I then created the website, business cards, and travel guidebooks.
