Collegiate Marketing was looking to update brochures advertising two of their subbranded services, and They wanted a departure from their previous text-dependent materials, one that was colorful, light-hearted, and witty.
Web comic-style illustration was the solution that would not only offer efficient, visual communication of each of these services, but also utilize an aesthetic familiar to college students. The comics were hand-drawn, then edited, inked, and lettered digitally. The colors used in the comics are the same PANTONE and CMYK swatches as those used in the company's branding.
