Earlier in the year, I was commissioned by Irish author Lydia Little to create cover art for her first two young adult novels in her 'K-Girls' series. These books are set in the famous Kylemore Abbey, an ex-monastery turned Girls boarding school in the beautiful wilds of western Ireland. It was a pleasure to work on as well as read these two books.
Below are a few images of the covers. (I lack my usual fancy instagrammed wip images due to keeping the covers underwraps during the process)
They were created with fineliners, watercolours and gouache paints on watercolour paper, and photoshop for post editing/layout.
I think they turned out well! (: Enjoy!
