Questlove on J Dilla: A Visual Love Letter
Inspired by the sample based roots of hip hop and the culture surrounding beatmaking such as stones throw, brainfeeder, and adult swim I took a collage and hand drawn approach to visually show the legacy and impact that J Dilla’s music has given to hip hop and internet beatmaking culture.
