San Diego Latino Film Festival
My submission to the Media Arts Center San Diego Latino Film Festival Competition. My design is heavily influenced by Retro VHS film cover design whilst maintaining a simple yet eye-catching aesthetic. The design harbours its own personally designed unique Latino inspired geometric typeface that runs across a diagonal grid along with a subtle pattern design that loosely represents film reel. This use of this pattern design and the use of vibrant colours relay back to the festivities and tradition of Latino culture.
