MATTA TEA PACKAGING
Matta Tea is a fictional low priced, superior quality tea brand specialising in Ceylon, Rooibos and Green tea.
I was to produce primary and secondary packaging for Matta Tea which is targeted to the low to mid-income South African shopper. The project involved researching this specific target audience to best formulate a low-cost product without giving the perception of sacrificing superior quality. The concept of Matta tea revolves around the origin of the Matta tea estate in India where all great things happen when you drink a cup of Matta tea, just as the origin of the Matta brand was brought to life.
