This was an exciting project that I worked on as part of my Typography class. These 3 science fiction classics, already vastly known, gave me the opportunity to be free to play and create these vintage inspired covers. 

The brief for this science fiction collection required strictly typographic covers for each title, bringing consistency in style across the series. The first step was to choose the right color palette. In this case, vintage inspired colors work together to connect the 3 books harmoniously. I used the yellow as an accent on "The Time Machine", but as a background on "The Man in the High Castle". The light blue on "We" serves as an accent in "The Time Machine". Next, I used the same font in different sizes and positions to create representation of the main concepts in each book.
