I say in my artist statement that "Relationships are never easy . . . especially those between
color, shape, texture and space." Along with this I try to create a tension in all my works no
matter what medium I use.
In the case of these aluminum pieces this still holds true. But in addition these pieces change - how
the sanded metal pieces take the light - as the viewer moves across the room.
