Exquisite Corpse Games LLC is a company that stimulates art revenue opportunities, in a very fun creative way.

What the game is

is a method by which a collection of painting, sculptures, music, poetry and photography that is collectively assembled. Each collaborator adds to a composition in sequence.

The much anticipated night is when the artists and all attending find out who each artist was paired with. It is also when everyone gets to see the “Corpses” come together for the first time. Three ideas/works of art come together as one. It is not just an event or an art show. It is a unique experience based on artistic blind collaboration. An updated version of an antique surreal game, with an interesting spin.

The Concept of the Directory

The cover was designed based of the logo of the company. I tried to made it to look as a realistic creature playing with the same concept of "Exquisite Corpse" . For this version, the aesthetics was inspired in the Woodcut look which is a technique of printing designs from planks of wood incised parallel to the vertical axis of the wood’s grain but also the beautiful vintage illustration of the 1872's

The main concept from the categories of the directory (Painting, sculpture, music, poetry and photography) was inspired by the painting Le Blanc Seing, 1965 - Rene Magritte . Layers with typographic and elements overexposed with each other that symbolize the meaning of each category.

The original Logo

The head is a fish and represents prosperity, The Torso is of a human. Humans being on the top of the food chain and connected to all living things. The arms crossed are first a representation of a “self-hug”. Peace starts within. Secondly, it represents the X mark of being Exquisite. Last but not least the legs of a kangaroo. Fast & nurturing.
