Trilogy: La Familia

Trilogy: La Familia

"La Familia" is the group of friends we created in college. The three part project revolves in showcasing the strong bonds we have created in our group. "La Familia" is Spanish for "The Family". The reason behind it is those within the group are from Spanish speaking countries. We display this by creating a movie/tv poster, an opening intro with  an original song playing, and a short episode to end the show off.
Final Project:
Group Members:
Laura Salgado: Responsible of music production and filming some scenes.
Alejandro Santiago: Responsible of video editing and filming the majority of the scenes of the videos.
Hector Colom: Responsible of creation of the poster in Photoshop as well as adding the text in the video.
Part 1: TV/Movie Poster
The TV/Movie Poster was the first idea created by this group. We followed the basics on what a professional poster would look like as well as taking inspiration of from the TV show "The Brady Bunch". The inspiration comes from everyone being related because of two people, however we made it our own and made everyone connect to each other because each person is who they are because of everyone else.
This was the first draft. Not everyone was connected to everyone and some photos weren't the best.
Although the photos don't change, the changes on the background let the people be more connected before.
We change a lot of the pictures to represent what they did in the video. We also made it to give more personality to the person at hand. Those who didn't change were due to not showing up as much in the video
Part 2: Intro/Opening Credits
The next part was the opening intro of the video. Because we didn’t start shooting after the intro was done, we used clips from our premiere project to do the intro. We wanted to add a theme song to our video so Laura created an original song for the video.
Part 3: Intro and Film
In part 3 we filmed a short skit between our group of friends. We filmed all the scenes and decide to change our intro with what we did for part 3. We also wanted this to feel like an actual show so we combined both part 2 and 3 so there is a nice flow to it.
