This was a project at University where you were assigned a random object, and you had to incorporate it within photography. I was given the object of 'sunglasses'. I took a pair of my own sunglasses into a mini studio and focussed more on macro shots/close ups of the object to bring into focus the detailing that you might not normally notice on a day to day basis. 

Having these images taken close up, you already know what the object is without having to have the object in full frame. In my head, when I was taking the photographs, I wanted to imagine that they were to be in an editorial layout. 

These were the final 5 images that I came up with. I'm quite happy with the result, especially the black and white ones.
