I was commissioned with the task of creating a logo for a new Dutch startup called ECO WOOD International. The company is still in development.
Like the majority of my projects, I use the old pencil and paper to sketch the first ideas that come to mind. As the company's main activity will be import of ecological wood, I looked for inspiration in the wood itself.
Like the majority of my projects, I use the old pencil and paper to sketch the first ideas that come to mind. As the company's main activity will be import of ecological wood, I looked for inspiration in the wood itself.
A couple of designs came out of the first sketching phase, but at the end we chose this one. The word ECO is spelled in the shape of tree circles, keeping it minimalistic and witty.
