Traditional & Contemporary Wine Labels
As a class assignment, we were instructed to rebrand a wine brand of our choosing. With the rebranding, we would include new logos and wine labels. The subject of this project is a local Louisiana vineyard called Pontchartrain Vineyards, specifically their Sweet Red wine.
Traditional Alternative
The traditional alternative includes a symbol that would represent
South Louisiana; the bald cypress tree that can be seen throughout the marshes of the south. The script font emphasizes a sweet southern feel, while the capital serif font represents a strong foundation.
Contemporary Alternative
As for the contemporary alternative, it still represents South Louisiana, but with a little more flare. The wrap text, new placement of the bald cypress symbol, as well as the funky script font allow for this.
