The illustration was a concept art for the game Crimson Edge. The creature is one of the game's main threats, known as the Scavenger. The creature is a mummified human being with tolerance to sub-zero temperature and an apparent immortality, although it differs from mainstream zombies as to not being driven by physiological needs such as "food" and is rather controlled by a "master" (curiously similar to the original concept of the voodoo "zombies", but in a “scientific” way).
