Shareit is a cross platform free transfer application that is mostly used by owners of PCs, Mac, iOS, Android and Windows devices. For this reason, you will have to depend on another option when transferring videos, pictures etc. There are so many other options that a person can rely on. In this article, we are going to have a look at how to transfer files like pictures and videos without necessarily having to use Shareit for PC Free Download and SHAREit KCweb exe for PC / Laptop

Transferring Files Using Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a good alternative to Shareit since you do not have to rely on Wi-Fi as is the case with other options like Xender and Shareit. Bluetooth makes use of a secure short range network to transfer files between different devices. Below is a guide on how to transfer files using Bluetooth without encountering any problem whatsoever.

You will first have to open Bluetooth in your device. This action varies depending on the type of device that you are using. In most cases, you will have to open the settings of your device to access this option.

Scroll down the various system settings until you can see “Bluetooth”. Tap on this option to switch on your Bluetooth. Alternatively, you can easily open Bluetooth by opening the drop down notification panel from the top of your screen.

You will then have to make your Bluetooth visible to other devices by tapping on “Make visible to other devices” option.

Next, connect the two devices by tapping on “Tap to connect” option. Once this is done, you will receive a notification.

Tap on “Accept” in the notification message to pair the two devices.

Select the files that you want to share after which you should tap on “Send via Bluetooth” option. You will now be able to transfer the files successfully. You must remember to switch off the Bluetooth once you transfer all the files.

Transferring Files Using Xender

Xender is another alternative to Shareit app although they both make use of Wi-Fi. You will have to make do with the steps below to transfer files using Xender app.

Download Xender from PlayStore and install it in your device.

Touch the Xender icon to launch the app after a successful installation.

You will then have to touch the icon that can be seen in a rectangular box. This action will generate two options i.e. Send and Receive.

Click on “Send” to create a hotspot for transferring the files.

Go to the other device and click on “Receive” option. Once you do this, the app will start searching for available devices. Tap on the available device.

You can now transfer any files once the two devices have connected. To transfer pictures, you will have to tap on ‘Camera’ or “Gallery” depending on the location of your files.

Cancel the connection after you finish the process.

With Bluetooth and Xender, you will never have to worry about transferring files especially if you do not have Shareit app.
