Didot: Creative Typography Poster

The objective was to create a poster that demonstrates the beauty of the typeface Didot. I started by doing some research on the typeface and discovered that the ideology behind the typeface was "beauty and function". In order to communicate this, I set the poster at an angle. The diagonal orientation of the type allows the the viewer a moment to perceive the text as shape and helps them to understand its abstract beauty before they read it as text.
