X-Wing Trench Run
I am super happy I got to learn some hard surface modeling in Cinema 4D for this project. I've been dying to model an X-Wing so here it is. The animation utilizes hard surface techniques, along with UV Mapping and post production compositing. It took a couple passes to make it seem more realistic. At first it felt very much like a cartoon model, but after pushing the details, textures, and lighting further and further, the end result was very pleasing.
I also got to implement Adobe Photoshop in order to create all of the textured surfaces. I used many different brushes and layers to add to the overall look of the model. I then composited everything in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro so I could accurately create the scene and sounds. Feel free to let me know what you think!
