A recipe book created by a culmination of Typesets, where the emphasis is on visual hierarchies and aesthetics only using type.

1. Selecting the Typeface options
The first challenge was to look at the options for the type face. The exercise started off with each student selecting a type face of their choice. And as the exercise progressed, it was decided that everyone would fix upon one single type face to form a uniformity in the final output.
So, finally it was narrowed down to 3 fonts, Array, Caxton and Adobe Garamond.

2. Narrowing to one type face
So, test prints were generated keeping the same content at 9pt size to judge for readability and legibility.
Here it was observed that Adobe Garamond proved better of the three, based on the above said parameters 
and also due to the fact it gave so many different weights.

3. Typesetting the a single recipe
4. Collective decision to switch to Minion Pro
By this step all the students had typeset their individual recipes. And in collective comparison it was decided to switch to Minion Pro for all the recipes as it outperformed every other font in terms of variations and hierarchies offered.

5. Bringing together all the recipes + Adding a cover and Table of Contents
Now, all the recipes were collected from everyone. Each student had to now come up with a cover and TOC for his recipe book but only using type and no graphics or illustration.
