On experimantal educational project Laboratory of Intervisibility in Kyiv out team including Maria Matiashova (idea, text), Bogdan Tishkevich (development, infographics),
Anastasia Yezhyzhanska and Irina Shostak (visualisation) was working on a question - how to attract public attention to the problem of tram culture development (infrastructure and image of trams) in Kyiv? We made researches and had interviews with people, who use tram in Kyiv, and showed it in an article using those illustrations.
We decided to use different bright colours to show tram as a romantic trasport. The same colours were used in infographics.
Every illustration tells stories of people who uses tram in Kyiv. The first one is about the controller in the tram who asked people who have conscience to pay for a ticket. The second one is about the grandma who said tram is a perfect transport for her because she can take many begs as she goes to a market every weekend to sell mashrooms. The last one is about a tram driver who is angry because of the cars who park on rails.
