Choreographed by Umeshi Rajeendra in collaboration with Malaka Mp, “Deconstruct the Embody” was a multidisciplinary project showing how different disciplines string together a story through contemporary movement. Performed at Lionel Wendt Art gallery, the performance began with a tour of the exhibited pieces followed by a contemporary dance at any random point. We welcomed people to come experience the exhibition followed by the dance perfomance and find link between the choreography to the images. All images were shot with the dancers of Mesh academy of dance.
