My latest conceptual series was inspired by Michael Crichton's 1973 sci fi classic Westworld starring Yul Brynner as the Gunslinger, a robot with a mind of its own, that goes on a murderous rampage through an amusement park of the future. It was such a classic (and frightening) movie, I thought I would put my own spin on it and make it a little more modern and edgy. And after braving 20 degree temperatures, equipment freezing up, smoke not cooperating and a romp through some old, dirty coal pits, I think we nailed it.
