As the only indigenous Zambian mobile provider, Zamtel understands the modern Zambian’s needs. Therefore, they continue to create products that are relevant to our lives and Zambian at heart while still keeping a global standard. An insight obtained was that people want speed, convenience and centralised access to their mobile phones.

The Zamtel App creative was developed with the inspiration to showcase popular Africa culture specifically relating to prints, fabric designs, among others. The creative hinged on  emotional connections that Zamtel provided a truly Zambian product for the Zambian people and their unique Zambian needs. It was an innovation with the Zambians at heart The hand was used to symbolise the action of taking and works as a call to action that symbolises owning. Blatant use of the brand colour green plays a huge role in landing the product as a proudly Zamtel product for Zambians!The campaign elements were laced with typically Zambian themes with colors schemes, copy and tones all drawn from local nuances. The visuals were also elaborately modern, playing on digital connotations like icons, emoticons among others. Therefore, Zamtel App was created to give easy all access to the Zamtel products.
