Battleground Texas is an Austin based, grassroots organization dedicated to turning Texas blue. I spent spring of 2018 preparing social media assets for primarily Facebook and Twitter to get the word out on registration and election dates for gubernatorial, state, and national elections all the way up to the November midterm elections.

Due to Get Out The Vote (GOTV) guidelines for politically aligned groups, I had to maintain a primarily blue colour scheme, specifically the three shades part of the Battleground Texas branding. Red was only permitted for instances where I used the Texas flag as a motif or as a tool to highlight when white proved insufficient. That instance only occurred twice.
