To begin my iterations I first became inspired by my Materialisation Five and drew key words that later influenced further iterations. The key words were refined to deconstruction, accentuation, layer and colour. With these words in mind for development I knew I wanted to play with the combination of image and text, so I started experimenting with words and statements to ignite the generation of ideas. Through the process of elimination I narrowed the ideas of text  will use and further consolidate final options by highlighting the best ones. I constructed these statements by reading and listening to music then deconstructing the words and reorganising them to create emotionally confronting yet interpretive statements. I have become very familiar with the words used as I have customised them to fit the concept but also to my personal experiences.
I found that the most important process for me was the exercises to help the class generate ideas for the final project. When generating these ideas I kept in mind my four key words and each time I would complete one the common theme was a monochromatic scheme with accents of red, which I carried through to my final project. These sketches and textures influenced where my project was heading and its final aesthetic qualities. The sketches that were the most successful and was used in final production were the instinctual 30 second drawings. This is because i had no time to overthink or overwork the design. Frantic line work became a signature throughout my final project which portrayed the fragility of human emotion and human existence.
