Commissioned graphics for Esc Skateboards between 2014 and 2017.
Titled G7-1000, the first signature Arthur Dias board, turning him a professional skateboarder.
At the time, the brand already had this space themed identity, I decided to include another element that represented both the brand and the skater, the Sony VX1000.
This camera was a landmark step in solidifying filmed skating as the central goal and product of skateboarding in general. It’s democratized the preservation of our culture forevermore.
All Esc videos were recorded in VX, the G71000 was a pun reference to the Sony camera and G7 Crew, where Arthur belongs, a group of skaters friends from Praça 7 de Setembro, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais - Brazil.
The astronauts represent Arthur, his wife and his son, the subliminal message I tried to say was,
No matter where you go, always, always, Family first.
"The Explorer"
The second Arthur board was titled "Voyage".
"We Live Outside" was the last graphic I ever designed for Esc.
