Lake Solitude
This fall, I hiked up to view Lake Solitude at sunset and ended up crossing timezones from fall to winter by the time I reached the summit.
The trail started as a standard fall hike.

But before long I was crunching through snow and frozen puddles. After climbing above Lake Solitude, every branch was crystalized.
