The right to marry the one you love. It's a simple idea that is uncomplicated and pure in its intention.
Yet it still manages to divide opinion, even in some of the most progressive parts of the world. The right for gay and lesbian members of society to be legally married was a fundamental governmental change that was pivotal to our growth as a equal nation.
Below is an experimental documental video piece created to promote awareness for this very issue. My aim within the piece was to highlight the idea that any couple should be allowed to have the same experiences, and same opportunities, no matter if the couple is heterosexual or homosexual.
