Texas Woman’s University (TWU) provides current and prospective students with an assortment of scholarship resources through the Pioneer Scholarship System. It was launched in October of 2017 and has greatly streamlined the application process. After creating a Pioneer Portal account and filling out a general application, users can search through a number of recommended scholarship opportunities based on eligibility and compatibility. In some cases, the system may automatically match students with certain financial-aid prospects, such as grants for new students. Candidates must upload all transcripts and required documents in order to get the most out of Pioneer Scholarship System recommendations.

Individuals can sign up for the system and begin applying to scholarships prior to being accepted at TWU or admitted to a program. Any candidate related to a board member should notify university staff of the relationship by emailing scholarships@twu.edu.
