Inspired by 1940's type manipulation, in this piece I wanted to use traditional typography, as well as a limited color pallet to create a sense of overwhelming emotion, as well as curiosity. Each word is a different description of Mariah Carey, as the quoted text is a verbatim of her view on Jennifer Lopez in the late 1990's.
