An event called "De la Raíz Hasta el Vuelo" was opened by a group of women from Xalapa called Aves y Moras, where they invited female illustrators to create an illustration of a woman, either of themselves or of some source of inspiration. and/or admiration.
For this event I decided to illustrate my mom with elements that have formed the image of my mother throughout my life and I always have in mind when I think about her and I chose her because she is the woman I admire the most and has taught me so much. Based on a photograph of her in her youth combining the hair that I remember when she was little, the earrings that my father gave her and a pendant that my deceased grandmother gave her, here the illustration to which I dedicate a lot of love and affection.
